DIY Light Tub
Suitable for Indoor shoots.
The tub is a regular plastic tub fitted with four bulb holders and four individual switches. The inner side of the tub is painted with aluminium paint to reflect spilt light. The tub also sports a handle to help carry it with ease.
The mount of the tub is as of now designed to fit to a mic stand. The mount can also be changed with a little modification to sit on a professional light stand.

Verdict
We have used this tub for number of shoots and it has successfully worked without any problems either with connections or heat generation. There are chances that the tub might start tilting towards a side along with the stand because of its mere size. A small weight can be added to the stand to avoid this.
We have also used the tub with gelatin sheets and diffusers. The tub works beautifully providing good diffused light. The reflectors in the tub increases the light almost one and half times.
The tub supports around 800w of light output with 200w tungsten bulbs on each holder. Heat has to be managed by switching it off regularly when not in use.
